Listen to:   ONLY GOD   (Rishikesh Retreats 2013)

About this series

The word ‘God’ is one of the most misunderstood words – universally. Each and everyone has his or her own concept of what ‘God’ is, formed by nurture and nature. Pujya Swamiji commences this series of talks with such an insightful introduction.
Those who claim not to believe in ‘God’, are infact only dismissing their own concept of God. All world religions have their own ideas surrounding ‘God’; Swamiji jokingly adding that only ‘God’ can put up with this kind of confusion!
‘God’ or Ishvara in Vedanta, as unfolded by Pujya Swamiji is a matter for understanding and not for belief. Swamiji guides us to recogniseIshvara as all aspects of creation, including ourselves and the lives we lead, being in the form of creation and the laws governing the universe.
All one needs to invoke Ishvara in one’s life, is to become more aware of his already-existent presence. Living a life aligned to dharma, universal ethics, keeps one in touch with Ishvara at every moment. Living in harmony with Ishvara means more objectivity, the appreciation of Ishvara. The more objectivity, the less subjectivity, the more of Ishvara. All that is here is, in reality, Ishvara alone…
